Looks to be a Smokey Joe platinum?… whatever it is, can’t beat free. Still need to fire it up to clean it out a bit, maybe just some simple hotdogs for a first burn.

Everytime i see wood handle grips i get a smile. I wish weber still used wood grips. I have zero woodworking skills to make my own.

I think that’s from around 2000. I replaced my old SJ with one from Lowe’s. This is what I got. No bottom vents, there’s one on each side by the lip for the grate. I could never get a really hot fire (lump). Gave it away after a month. Searched for one with bottom vents.
