this looks eerily similar to mettbrotchen. if so, i totally get it. you can’t get safe raw pork around here. i’ve always wanted to see what it was like

Open face cat food sandwich! Meow

The compostable Prussian Blue cardboard plate is what really sells it for me.

If it was liverwurst instead of canned corn beef it would not be so bad, but I guess when the edibles kick in you have to make what you can of the situation, I don’t judge, it happens. As a fellow former chef I’m curious what his favorite shower beer is, hopefully hasn’t progressed to shower vodka at this point, things go downhill fast at that point.

You know what? As long as he enjoys it and doesn’t get sick, I mean that’s how most dishes were invented. “Hey I found this weird looking plant. . . Let’s eat it and see what happens!”

Liverwurst on toast is a comfort food for me. I fuck with this.

  7. Braunschweiger, onions and toast? Sounds like an amazing lunch! Add some mustard and I’d be in heaven. (Then again, my husband is Dutch and this is a regular snack for him)

That looks like Leberwurst. I like onions and small chunks of apple on those. He’s not wrong being happy about that meal. Source: I’m also a Chef

    Mettbrot? Chopped liver? Pâté? Friskies?

Bruh this looks like something from the 40s, like I think I’ve even seen something similar in my vintage cookbooks or magazines with the other mystery meat meals.

Needs some spicy brown, or horse radish.

I’d get rid of you the second you gave it to me 😂😂😂

Wonder why he “used” to be a chef.

  14. Is it a pate? Meat? I like pickled onions in sandwiches, but no problem with this

Irish peasant food. If you go to mcsorleys in nyc just replace the bread with saltines and you got yourself a meal.

I thought it was liverwurst and I was gonna say, sub in rye and add mayo and it takes me back to summers with my grandmother lol

  17. StupidMario64

Yknow, i cant tell if this is tuna or liverwurst.

  18. mark-suckaburger

Liver and onions is absolutely a thing. Id enjoy this

Working at Micky D’s doesn’t make your partner a chef

  20. Retardedastro

He’s a few ingredients shy from a banh mi

Liver paté and onions? Honestly its pretty damn good after a long shift. Salty, full of protein, onions give the spice and crunch, toast for the carbs, absolutely zero effort. A staple of danish/scandinavian chefs. Tho usually its on rye bread

Every good man likes liverwurst and onion….good choice, good choice
