Coconut cake with buttercream frosting // cream cheese coconut filling. 6” top 8” bottom
Made some mistakes (of course)…
Cut layers in half and decided to only add three half layers total. I don’t know why lol – looked like enough at the time.
Couldn’t get the writing correct at the beginning and then couldn’t get the frosting back to looking nice on top.
How do you fit the piping “seam” together nicely?
What would this cake go for cost wise? I’ve calculated it out using the common methods and that seems crazy high to me – but I don’t like paying for much of anything 😆. Would like some confirmation in order to build confidence.

I am not an expert by any means, but it looks amazingly well done to me. When i saw the arrows pointing out mistakes you saw, I didn’t know that anyone else would have noticed them unless they are professional bakers. It looks as perfect as humanly possible! And i like the size.
