Pale ruby with a hint of bricking at the rim.

The nose shows dried rose petals, cranberry, and a gentle earthiness, with underbrush and subtle pencil-shaving notes.

On the palate, fine, fully integrated tannins and lively acidity lift delicate red fruits. Light and ethereal, with sour cherry, a touch of red licorice, and an underlying earthy depth that anchors the fruit.

Great little bottle to open.16 was a good vintage for the Yarra Valley. Nice and warm and perfect for Pinots. What were you thoughts, keep a few more years?
