I really like my butcher but he only offers small wings or jumbo. Where can I go to find decent size wings that aren't gross? Are the ones made by Tyson or any other grocery store brand OK? Thanks so much.

The local grocery store wings are perfect. About 20 to a pack. You have to cut them. Frozen or Costco are crap

I bought some Kinder’s frozen wings as I needed to try them, they were smaller than these! So I’d avoid those as well. They tasted good but I’m sticking to my local wings instead lol

IMO small wings are the best. They have the best bite. They absorb flavor and get a nice crisp to them. Big wings have too much unflavored chicken per bite.

We bought some “All natural” chicken wings from Costco and they were all super small like these. Very disappointed….. Never again……

Not long ago, I discovered that the small party wings have the best flavor. Plus there’s more surface area overall for sauce. As long as you’re paying by the pound and not the wing, they’re amazing! (I can’t stand it when restaurants charge $1+ ea for these things.)

I love small wings, lol. My local deli makes terrible wings, but they work in a pinch. Last time I went, they sold me a bunch of wings this size and they were the best wings they’d ever made for me.

It really depends. I live in Buffalo and there’s only one butcher where I can consistently get good wings (they’re also the only one that lets me get all drums without paying extra or just saying no)
