Had been craving a solid bagel, and got lost in options. Finally decided I would start with my initial pick and go from there.
The criteria is I’m going to start with a solid baseline and then judge from there, so I keep have a constant. Plain bagel, plain cream cheese, lox, capers, onion.

So bagel one is from David Doughies.
Loved the bagel itself. A nice bagel outer shell, super soft and chewy inside. Good proportions of filling. Not too much cream cheese, enough to let the other toppings come through.
