The only way to get a Taco Fern seed is as a reward from the pig chef, Chris P., during the Cooking Event. However, it’s only a chance that you’ll get this seed, so you may end up with one of many other rewards instead.
The best way to increase your chances of getting a Taco Fern seed in Grow a Garden is to give Chris P. Prismatic rarity meals. Which you can find recipes for in our Chris P. Bacon Cooking Recipes guide. In addition to this, you can also try to make sure the meal you make is the current craving too.
The nice thing about this seed is that it’s a multi-harvest plant. Once you have it, you can keep it in your garden for as long as you like and continue to pick from it to sell. However, you won’t be able to get seeds from Lucky Harvests since this plant isn’t in the Seed Shop.
Since the Taco Fern is an event seed, you can’t rely on pets with special abilities to get them for you. Such as the Red Fox, which can duplicate certain seeds from other players’ gardens. Similarly, Dogs who can dig up random seeds won’t dig up event seeds.
