While passing through Bakersfield, CA

Many years ago, I was a manager at Fenton’s creamery in Oakland, California, which is an old fashioned ice cream parlor, that has been around for over 100 years. Even though I’m older and not supposed to eat lots of sugar anymore, sometimes I have to break down and make an exception

• I was recently on a road trip traveling to the Grateful Dead 60th anniversary in San Francisco… on a stop over in Bakersfield, California, and went to fulfill a guilty pleasure, at Rosemarys Family Creamery.

I have been here before and love the old style theme of the ice cream parlor … many classic flavors also as you can see in the above photo, and homemade sauces yum 😋
