This pack of Chuck from Costco caught my eye, mainly the marbling in the Denver portion of the full Chuck piece. The two Chuck eye’s got vacuum sealed and out in the freezer, but the Denver got the overnight dry brine, and 50 minute smoke at 225F until an internal temp of 120F, and then a 4.5 minute sear over charcoal. Tasted incredible and meted like butter.

Nice photo!
Beautiful temperature, but how long did you rest before cutting 😭
Too many filters.
Buddy cranked up the saturation
I think you hit that pesky aspect of photography where the audience here prefers that quality of photo but without the background looking like you’re trying to get that type of photo. It looks that way because no one cooks with that little light. As a result, it looks like you prepped each shot with photography as your main focus rather than the food as your main focus. That’s my guess as to the downvotes. I could be completely wrong though. Overall looks delicious.
How does Reddit not compress the fuck out of your photos? Happens to all of mine
People are hating and it’s dumb. I’ve seen a ton of your posts and I’m pretty sure you’ve posted about your photography setup before.
Your shit always looks phenomenal and very pleasing to the eye. Definition of food porn.
Good work, buddy.

I’m more interested on how you lit these, really great work
Can you provide any details on the dry brine? I’m seeing this right before bed and hope I dream of steak.
I was not familiar with Costco’s butcher game. Chuck roast can look like this?!
I just wish my eyes worked as well as your camera setup
Hope this dosent offend any one . But i read the post fast, thought it said “Denver Nut”
Omg that looks super delicious!!!
Im absolutely bricked
When I make salmon I dry brine with a large amount of seasalt on all sides and then before smoking it I wash the salt off. Do you keep the dry brine salt on the meat before cooking it?
Post it to r/steak and they’ll say it’s well done.
Nice! It’s a very cubic cut of beef isn’t it.
I don’t know much about meat but looks amazing
Name checks out
