The Lillet spritz is hands down one of my favorite summer drinks. It’s light, crisp, and incredibly refreshing. You only need two ingredients: Lillet Blanc and club soda. That’s it! Lillet Blanc is a French aperitif made from white wine blended with citrus liqueurs and herbs. It has a delicate flavor that’s slightly sweet, which makes it perfect for spritzes. Build the drink over ice, add a slice of orange, and you’ve got a low-effort, high-reward cocktail that you’ll want to make all summer long. I find myself coming back to this spritz year after year because it’s so easy to pull together and always hits the spot on a hot day.
What Makes the Lillet Spritz So Great
This cocktail checks all the boxes for an easygoing summer drink! It’s not too boozy, so you can sip it leisurely on the patio, and it pairs well with everything from salty snacks and charcuterie boards to grilled seafood. Lillet Blanc brings citrus, floral, and honey notes — and when topped with club soda, it becomes bubbly and refreshing. The best part? It’s just as elegant as more complex cocktails, but takes almost no effort to make.
