It’s 5:00 p.m. The kids are hungry. Everyone is hungry. You’re tired. And dinner not even started. This used to be my nightmare every single night until I put together my brand new vegan freezer meal system. And when I tell you it has changed my life, that is not an understatement. Now, dinner is done before I can even think about it. And it has literally transformed my evenings into a peaceful one. So, if you’re also tired of that 5:00 dinner rush and you just don’t know how to get out of that loop like a lot of us, then stick with me in this video because you are not going to want to miss this. I’m going to show you step by step how I use this system and how you can use it, too. All right, so we’re going to start this video off with a little bit of transparency here. So, up until recently, my evenings used to look something like, you know, running around like a chicken with my head cut off around 5:00 trying to grab whatever ingredients I could grab and throw something together that resembled a dinner. As much as I like to cook and all of that, I too just sometimes felt so overwhelmed or exhausted. I have an extremely busy life. I homeschool. I have this YouTube channel. I write recipe ebooks. I have a special needs child that I have full-time. My life is really busy just like the rest of you. So, dinner time for me just sometimes felt like a struggle if I’m being honest. And what happens when you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed is that it’s easier to fall off track, especially if you do have some, you know, health goals or weight loss goals in mind or if you’re responsible for feeding a family, you know, it just it’s a lot. So then one weekend, I tried something new. I prepped a bunch of healthy plant-based dinners ahead of time. I tucked them away in my freezer and just kind of forgot about them. And then the next week, I ended up pulling one out of my freezer. I threw it in my slow cooker and by the time I got home that day, dinner was done. And I swear to you, it’s like a light bulb went off in my brain. And that was it. I was like, “This is the solution I’ve been waiting for. This is exactly what I need.” And I’m telling you, it has changed my life. All right, but before we get into the details of this amazing system, if you are actively trying to lose weight right now or even just add more fiber into your diet, here’s a quick clip of what an average day of eating looks like for me coming from someone who has lost over 60 lbs following a plant-based diet. and it’s going to show you very quickly how I’ve created a flawless system that keeps me consistent every single day. So, here’s the thing. Dinner used to be my biggest struggle. But mornings, mornings used to be just as bad. I either ate too much or I ate nothing at all. But that was before I started drinking my high-fiber plant-based shakes that kept me full for hours.   1. Yay! I am not busy at all, but I am burning out. Hubby doesn't like what I am cooking lately and I just don't know what to cook anymore. He hates lentils and coconut and he has a baby tongue. So, unless I cook something not plant based, I'm left with spaghetti, or rice and beans, or pasta salad. He likes the processed food that I just can't eat anymore.   5. I homeschooled my children K-12, one with special needs (DS). Best decision ever. I am excited for the freezer meals because my life is still super busy. I also would love to prep meals for my daughter and son-in-law. She's a nurse at a top children's hospital and has no time or desire to cook. Most freezer meals are neither vegan nor healthy.
