    $68/lb for skirt steak

I knew the economy was bad but damn

  2. GreenMango19

    Wow. Just, wow.

Are they any good, at least? I prefer Lupe Tortilla.

  3. DigiQuip

Even the $29 for vegetables is hilarious.

What could they possibly be doing to justify the prices?

  4. jmc1278999999999

This is either the best restaurant in the world for fajitas or they’re insane

  5. ReluctantRedditor275

How many Michelin stars does this place have?

  6. Toronto-1975

$4 – $6 for a SINGLE shrimp? LOL WTF is that bullshit?

  7. rileydogdad1

Just another BBQ chain in Houston nothing special.

The fact that they have tenderloin fajitas tells me everything I need to know about who this restaurant caters towards.

$6 per additional shrimp? Oysters should be half that!

This menu might be a test. If you decide to stay after reading it, you’ve failed.

That’s close to pappasitos pricing. Truth is there’s a market for overpriced Mexican food in Houston and they know it

I’ll leave thier meat as it’s just ok to me and I just get me some of their pecan pie….omg it’s the best pecan pie this side of the Mississippi!

  12. LonesomeBulldog

To be fair, that includes all sides and fixings, so it’s dinner for 2-3 for that price.

  13. olliewood10

It’s because literally extremely stupid people pay those prices, so the greedy bastards think all their customers are extremely stupid.

“Fancy” Mexican and Italian restaurants will never be worth it. The cuisine is best enjoyed from a small local place, places like this ruin it

They are tripping. I would slide right on over to a local good Taqueria for some barbacoa.

$55 for 1lb of chicken? Even expensive chicken breast from some free-range organic farm is at the most, $14/lb

  17. At most $1.5 worth of shrimp sold for $18. Who TF eats there?

And I was mad when my favorite spot increased their low country boil to $14, $16 if the shrimp are peeled (used to be $7.75 or $10 with a beer). LMFAO. I need to go hug my local owner.

  18. OversizedMicropenis

Should be named Badde Company tbh

  19. Showertosavewater

guess if they had shrimp it would be $120 lb

Just go to Goode Co. Hamburgers & Taqueria. Prices and portions more reasonable, and the best damn breakfast tacos in town, outside of a random taco truck at a worksite.

Here in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area, a large sizzling skillet (at least a pound) of fajitas with beef, chicken, and 3 large diablo shrimp (shrimp wrapped in bacon, cheese and jalapeno) with a side of tortillas and beans and rice and fixins is about $25-$30 depending on the restaurant, so yeah, $61 is double the price, assuming it even comes with everything I mentioned. Houston has lost their minds.

  22. LimpZookeepergame123

Those are “I’m walking back out” prices 😂😂

  23. illegal_deagle

Nobody here realizes these are prices for a big fajita spread with sides and shit too.

  24. Own_Car4536

Absolutely no way I’m going out to an expensive restaurant and getting fajitas lol

  25. GramZanber

You’re not paying those prices because the food is good, you’re paying those prices so you don’t have to sit next to poor people.

  26. ExtraProlificOne

Goode Company Taqueria is fire. Don’t sleep.

  27. hockeybrianboy

Fajitas like lobster are one of the dishes that have been artificially inflated in price because of their popularity and restaurants know people want them. Not worth the price when everyone is smart enough to throw meat and marinade in a bag at home.

Also not worth doing fancy Mexican; similar to Chinese it’s one of the simpler cuisines and why you’ll always find the best food at hole in the walls.

Never going to Goode Co. What a rip off.

I used to live around the corner from this place. The food I actually really good, but yeah it is in a nicer part of town and was always crowded so was always on the pricier side of texmex. Really good margaritas. This looks a little more expensive than it was before I moved a year ago. But as others have said this includes the entire fajita fixings and easily feeds 2+ people.

Seems like a good way to go out of business
