Looking for some recommendations for a 1st Smoker. Local Freight Discounter has several Scratch/Dent Searwoods for $525. Mainly a few scratches around the plastic trim. All my friends and family tell me to get a Traeger or the Sam's branded one, but these Webers seem to be well liked, and I love our Weber Spirit grill. Good buy for newbie at this price?

Seems like a hell of a deal, good find OP. If I was in the market for a new pellet smoker, Weber Searwood would be my choice

Agreed searwood much better than a Traeger. I’d buy another for that price. Hell of a deal, plus I assume this still comes with Weber warranty
