I've come a long way if you see my previous post in here lol. I like the way it kicks as soon as it hits the tounge, and obviously don't douse your food in it lol. Anyone else in here tried it?

This and the scorpion Tabasco are my dailies right now

  2. Yep, this stuff is great. I’m mostly desensitized to the heat now, but it’s always a staple in my fridge, mostly because it’s readily available at my local grocer. It’s a pretty tame jolokia sauce, though, with a nice balance between the onion, lime, and carrot flavors. I find myself gravitating away from artificially thickened sauces these days that pack more heat!

I have a taster of this and I really like it.

Marie sharps is much better if you can find it.

Also, this brand stole a lot from that one so I’m absolutely biased.

    But fuck Melinda.

A decent choice! It is NOT a killer, taste canceling one, but it is darn good still. You will not regret it!

I’m really into it. Great flavor, good balanced heat. Melinda’s doesn’t do super hot sauces IMO so this might be at the top of their range, but compared to other companies’ sauces it’s definitely not 5/5 little fires hot.

I’m newer to hot sauce/spicy and love it. Burns a good amount, but it’s so flavorful I don’t mind it at all. I try to use it on as many foods as possible.

Melinda’s Ghost Pepper is one of my favorites too, great sauce

Super good. Always keep reaching for it

Good flavor and the heat isn’t near as much as you would expect by judging their pepper scale on the bottle.

I finished a bottle of this the other day. I did that thing where I eyeballed the end of the bottle and thought, “yeah, that’s a good amount to use on this rice bowl”. It was about 50% more than I needed, but I kept pouring it on nonetheless.

Honestly id been trying to kill this bottle while saving the belizian heat in the fridge, thinking id only re-up on the belizian heat and let this one go. But the more i use it, the more I think i should keep it in the rotation

I’m over the Melinda’s vs. Marie Sharps thing.

Guys, she’s doing fine. Her sauces taste nothing like Melinda’s, they are two very different companies. What happened sucked, and Melinda’s was shitty for it, but everyone has moved on except for you.

Marie Sharps is hugely successful, they don’t need you white-knighting.

Y’all gotta get over it. I’m sure she has.

I mean, I do douse my food in it. It’s got decent heat, and good flavor. It’s a staple in my collection, as a mid-level heat sauce. Definitely a solid choice!

I love Melinda’s Ghost, its one of my go to sauces. I had a good bit of it a couple nights ago on pepperoni pizza. Goes great mixed in with tomato/pasta sauces too.

I love Melinda’s Scorpion too, probably more. They’re both just very versatile sauces you can use on anything with good heat.
