Had bought this quite some while ago, but never opened it till now. I always find it difficult to grab something special without any special reason. But today I thought fuck it, and popped the cork. Really nice effect this one, classic burgundy butter notes with great freshness. Wished I bought more of this back then.
Price: €60 back then :'(
##Tasting note: Butter, ripe apple, pear, preserved lemon, whetstone, lovely acidity, and long finish.
Truly lovely classical Meursault, but with super fresh acidity. Super comfortable without becoming boring.

I absolutely *adore* Henri Boillot. His Meursault Genevrieres is one of my all time favorite wines, not to mention the Batards and Criots Batards which are also totally insane.
Some of those wines venture into PYCM territory in my opinion.

Lovely glass, thou it looks like a pain in the ass to clean it
