Gavurdağı, a Turkish salad, featuring tomatoes and walnuts and a dressing made with pomegranate molasses and sumac is SO good! Apologies for my poor pronunciation, but the salad is stellar! This salad from Turkey is so yummy. Garva salata or tomato and walnut salad is perfect for tomato season. A dressing with olive oil, pomegranate, molasses, and sumac season with a little salt. And then to a bowl, we add finely chopped tomato, green pepper, cucumber, red onion, and parsley. And then we add that yummy dressing and mix it to combine. Chill for about 30 minutes. And then to top with chopped walnuts. It is so good. Let me know if you make it.
