I’ve been patiently waiting on you!

A cross of three tomatoes from Bill Yoder’s Depeche Mode Collection. Primarily bred for disease resistance!

However, this tomato ticks so many boxes aside from that. Aesthetics are sublime, what you see is what you get.

Flavour profile 👌🏼 citrus, intense and complex with striking sweetness. The flavour lingers leaving you wanting more!

Tomato nirvana right here!

I love the color of the outside, they look like some freaky watermelons!

Where do you get the seeds from? I see a few listings for other variations on Etsy. I don’t know if these were a one and done sale or something local to you.

I’m genuinely having a hell of a time trying to grow some tomatoes this year, the blossom end rot is killing them, and me. I’m just looking for a good kind that’s disease resistant.

The tomatoes look very good 🤩 Wow, I haven’t been able to connect tomatoes with Depeche Mode yet, even though I like both very much. And now there’s a Depeche Mode Collection, hard to believe. Where do you get the seeds from?

I’m waiting for mine to ripen, too. I’m hoping the flavor lives up to the hype.

As far as getting seeds, NativePlantWorx on Etsy has many of the Yoder varieties. I know they had Shake the Disease earlier in the year. If they’re out now they’ll probably restock as this year’s crop comes in.

I’ll also recommend Raspberry Beret, Rio and Ordinary World from Yoder. I’ve gotten ripe ones from them and they were awesome! I’m not as much a fan of 1999 and Little Red Corvette, though my daughter liked them. I’m just picky and prefer sweeter tomatoes.

Good taste but the skins are tougher. I don’t have problems with diseases yet but if I did this is good to know.

These look pretty similar to my purple bumblebees
