I check the steak section at my local Costco every time I go. Many times the steaks are a little underwhelming and I leave empty handed. After many months of randomly checking. I finally found some that I couldn’t pass. Dreams do come true.

I mean you’re paying almost 20 bucks a steak. I don’t really understand how this is that great of a deal or something to show people.

  2. Casty_Who

I mean it was 91 bucks.. But does look nice!

  3. mudbro76

$91.00 kind of high 💸📈 enjoy 😊 though

  4. PrizePreset

Nearly $100 for 4 steaks. At what point do you just eat pork chops?

Found a 3 pack just like this the other day at eastvale location. It was fuckin phenomenal

  6. pewpew_42

People thinking that is high just see full price for 4 steaks . They are very thick, and $18 is pretty good for prime.

My last steaks were sirloin at Costco. They were as marbled as I would expect from new york strip. I had to go for it!

$18.99 – excellent cuts but not sure you’re all that lucky with the price.

Those are pretty standard prime quality NY strips by me. I often fine choice looking very like prime to my eyes and made the switch many times to save some money. Now if we could just get them to stop blade tenderizing every steak sold . . . .

Went to Costco the last 2 weekends (2 separate locations) and both were out of ribeye prime. Such a bummer

I ended up buying prime ny strip, but I know they won’t be anywhere near as good

Took me a little while before I pulled the trigger on these steaks too.
I don’t regret it neither, best steaks I’ve ever cooked. I go back for them every week or two now lmaoo

Just picked up the same pack yesterday!! Can’t wait to make em

The Choice options by me seems pretty close to Prime (sometimes better?), at a much better cost. Worth giving them a look.

  14. These are some damn fine 19 ounce steaks 😋

Pro tip from a Walmart employee. If you shop there with any regularity always check the meat department. Look at the sell by dates, especially on the prime. See what the date is and go to the store on that date about 8am or so. Will be marked down like 40%. Best deal in the store.

  16. Rockosayz

that is how the prime always looks at the costco near me

  17. Getthechemlightfluid

Holy smokes. I paid $18.99 for prime ribeyes. Would not pay that for prime New York

  18. Ultiman100

$20 a pound for prime NY strips is not what I would consider lucky.

    At all.

Trumps tariffs are going to bankrupt this sub. Can’t stop, wont stop

  20. The-Titty-Rider

$19 per pound is nice but I just dont need 5 pounds

  21. AntiPantsCampaign

I really want to buy steaks at Costco but I couldn’t eat that much 😫

Wish they’d have 2 steak packages

  22. Simple-Purpose-899

I won’t buy blade tenderized beef, but I do like getting their vac pack primals.

  23. TechnicfreakHD

They look fantastic but 90 bucks?!

  24. ShootinAllMyChisolm

In college, my buddy worked at a grocery store meat market. He’d slap a ground chuck label on some ribeyes. Go grab it after his shift and checkout.

  25. Im not sure why people are saying the price is really high. Don’t get me wrong beef prices in general are high and going up, and if you’re trying to feed a family this is an inefficient way to do so.

With that said beautiful prime strip steaks like this for $18.99 a pound is not bad? A prime new York strip at a restaurant is gonna cost you quite a bit more than that. If you got the budget room for it who wouldn’t grab these?

  26. LanguageIcy4594

if you have an acme near you, they do strips for 10.99 per lb every Tuesday (not sure when it ends but it’s been on all summer)

  27. theimoc

Wasn’t that long ago, maybe last year, that I got prime new York’s for $12/lb at Costco. Must have been a surplus at that time. $18.99 seems high, I’d rather get the best looking choice depending on the price break.

  28. It was just a few years ago when Costco filet mignon was $12/lb…

  29. KeiserSoze24

BJ steaks are also incredibly expensive. Time to buy a half cow or something

  30. Tristate82

Still waiting on the lucky part. Enjoy!!

  31. ArcherBarcher31

I don’t duck with that blade-tenderized stuff. Just get a ribeye roast and slice it up.
