I've tried pepperjack cheeses that are way spicier than this. Those 4 peppers symbolize 4 out of 100 spicy. It's a total waste of money.

Ah thats why its a blend so prolly very little reaper. My hyvee has reaper cheese and its actually hot for cheese. I grab some everytime i go.

Spice-wise, that’s true of all the shredded reaper cheese I’ve come across. That said, it melts well and tastes good melted onto a burrito. Haven’t tried Great Value yet, but almost all the rest of them are identical. The Kraft version was cut a little thicker and has a slightly more creamy flavor. They’re all a very slight improvement over Monterey Jack.

Ive got a decent spice tolerance and Stater bros on the west coast had a reaper cheese and at least the block I got was very spicy.

Call me crazy but I think it is pretty spicy if you use enough of it… Though maybe my spice tolerance isn’t crazy high like some here
Also Publix has Carolina reaper cheese just like this but in slice from, and it is a bit hotter than the Walmart stuff

I just don’t think Carolina reaper tastes good. Sure it’s spicy but I want the pepper to actually have a good flavor and not just be spicy for spicy sake.

Isn’t it harder for cheese / dairy products to be spicy? Like the dairy itself calms downs spice significantly
