1 can fava beans – $1.50
1 tbsp butter – $0.20
Spices (cinnamon stick, 2 star anise, curry, Cajun, salt Bulk ~$0.10
0.125 cup nutritional yeast – $0.40
0.25 cup kefir – $0.40
Total batch cost = $2.75
÷ 3 meals = $0.92 per meal.
I didn’t bother with garnishes this time because im exhaustedafter work today. But still felt rich eating it for less than a dollar, lol.
8f I had the energy I would have added pickled onions and toasted chickpeas and some diced chives or something and still been just above the $1 mark per meal.
