Very nice. I like growing onions. I know they’re cheap at the store but it’s nice to just have a ton of them in my basement.

Congratulations! I can’t grow onions. Been gardening for years. Tomatoes no problem. Bell peppers no problem. Potatoes, lettuce green beans, swiss chard, etc no problem. Onions…….I plant them every year….and get these little things that are just not worth it.

You did Great! And i love sweet onions.

    Nice job!

I’m trying wallas wallas  too. A lot of them don’t have bulbs or the bulbs are small. I might need to fertilize better. Yours look great!

So you grew these on accident? Are you saying they’re… onion-tentional?

Isn’t that the best feeling? I grew cabbage for the first time this summer, and I couldn’t believe I was holding in my hands an actual cabbage that I grew!

It’s my first year also!! Those look so amazing! I’m excited to pick mine. I read on here somewhere that if you want to cure them, to wait until the tops die, fall over and turn completely brown before picking. Some I pick to use right away and I have about 100 left for curing. I’m getting impatient! The tops have fallen over, but are still green. It’s been weeks!
