This August, JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa invites guests to The Italian Table. This special two-night collaboration takes place on August 29 and 30, 2025, and spotlights three of Thailand’s leading Italian chefs. 

Held at Olive, the resort’s Italian restaurant, the event showcases inventive dishes highlighting authentic Italian home cooking, set against the calm beauty of Khao Lak’s coastline.

The event offers a culinary journey featuring three acclaimed chefs. Chef Marco Avesani of La Bottega Bangkok brings a refined approach shaped by Michelin-starred kitchens across Europe and Asia. 

Chef Michele Fernando of Massilia, Bangkok’s most awarded pizzeria, offers inventive takes on traditional pizza. Last but not least, Chef Vincenzo Sorrentino — or “Chef Enzo” — of Olive draws on his Neapolitan roots and produce from the resort’s own JW Garden to craft heartfelt, seasonal dishes.

The first evening will see Olive transformed into an intimate à la carte dining room. Diners can enjoy signature plates from each chef, including Massilia’s award-winning Norma Not Normal (Pizza of the Year 2025), La Bottega’s Maccheroncini with Fassona beef ragù and Castelmagno, and Olive’s red tuna with kumquats and Mediterranean pesto.

The following evening features LA FESTA, a vibrant Italian buffet priced at 1790 Thai baht++ per person. Live cooking stations bring the event to life, with specialties such as pizza, carbonara, risotto and antipasti showcasing Italy’s diverse cuisine.

Set in one of Thailand’s most idyllic resort destinations, The Italian Table not only showcases the depth of Italian cuisine in Thailand but also the collaborative spirit between three chefs at the top of their game.
