Maison Bleue, in Churchgate Street, Bury St Edmunds, made the announcement on social media.
The restaurant is heavily based on French cuisine and was commended by the Good Food Guide as one of the “warmest” restaurants in the country last year.

Maison Bleue will close from Sunday, August 24 until Wednesday, September 10 for a “break”, the restaurant confirmed.
Maison Bleue has received national acclaim before and earlier last year received an award from restaurant guide, Hardens, for its “exceptional quality food”.
