Kurogi based in Tokyo. Known for their massive portions and prices. Breakfast is 42,000 yen per person plus service charge and dinner is around 120,000 yen per person. Known for ‘Tokyo’ kappo style.
Served as almost buffet style and they will give you left overs after dinner as multiple bento boxes. I’d say unless you have a massive, massive appetite, most customers leave with 1-4 pounds of left overs.
You can request for additional refills of whatever was served without extra charge.
Starts with tofu and soy milk soup, assorted pickled vegetables and marinated seafood.
Highlight is freshly prepared tonkatsu, omelette and rolled eggs with toast and as much caviar as you want.
There is also option to have 1-6? different kinds of fish they will cook for you.
Also choice of 6 different eggs prepared any style you like and rice with corn. Kurogi also owns as kakigori dessert shop called Kuriya Kurogi and serves a freshly made one at end of meal.
It’s probably the best and most luxurious breakfast I ever had, value is subjective.

Nice.
“Is that enough caviar sir?” “More please”
More money than sense
Actually how do you make a breakfast reservation at Kurogi ?
It says their dessert shop closed 2 years ago?

NYC Bodega bacon egg n cheese and I’m good
What are the different types of eggs?
I was on the fence to try for fun, but got full just looking at the pictures 😅
Did you order eggs? if so in what style and how was it?
Single Thread has to be up there in the expensive breakfast competition. It requires you stay at the property which I believe is 800-1200 per night.
