Panic attacks are awful. You feel like you’re going to die and, in my experience, the physical effects linger for days if the attack was acute. All the more reason to treat yourself! Yum and well deserved.

It’s certainly appropriate to have a good steak after a rough day, but just so you know, some people show up in the ER with strokes, heart attacks, or respiratory issues and get dismissed as “probably just anxiety.” A little perspective and self-awareness might help avoid unintentionally making it harder for people with life-threatening conditions to be taken seriously.
