Along with Gold and Rainbow, we now have the Silver Mutation. It was added to Grow a Garden alongside the Beanstalk Event, giving us yet another mutation that can apply to our crops. If you haven’t yet spotted the Silver Mutation and you’re keen to see it on your crops, here’s everything you need to know.

How to Get the Silver Mutation in Grow a Garden

The good news is, the Silver Mutation is another naturally occurring mutation, meaning any of your plants can suddenly get it. It appears more frequently than the Gold Mutation, but is still quite rare. For example, I planted about 60-70 Orange Tulips, 2 of them were Gold, and about 6 of them were Silver.

Just like Gold and Rainbow mutations, you’re more likely to see Silver mutations on multi-harvest and fast-growing plants such as Tomatoes, Strawberries, and Blueberries. If you’re regularly harvesting them, you’ll see the Silver Mutation in no time.

Want to Help Your Chances of Mutations?
Keep an eye out for Advanced Sprinklers at the Gear Shop. These are the cheapest sprinklers that can increase your mutation chances. The Godly Sprinkler, Master Sprinkler, and Grandmaster Sprinkler will all also increase your mutation chances, but are less likely to appear at the Gear Shop.

Does Silver Fertilizer Make Crops Silver?

Silver Fertilizer was also introduced as part of the Beanstalk Update. You can purchase it from Goliath’s Goods for 10,000,000 Sheckles. However, you’ll need to have grown the Beanstalk 4 times before the option to purchase the Silver Fertilizer becomes available, and it’s a Divine item, meaning it won’t appear in the shop each time it restocks.

If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to get Silver Fertilizer as a reward from the green glowing orbs that appear on the leaves of the Beanstalk once it’s fully sprouted.Beanstalk Growth GaG (3).png

Each box of Silver Fertilizer can be used just once, and it doesn’t work like Mutation Sprays. It won’t turn a single crop Silver, but instead, it will turn your entire plant Silver. This does not guarantee that you’ll get Silver crops from it either, but it does increase the chances of you getting Silver fruit from the crop you’ve altered.

Silver Seed Packs

Alongside the Beanstalk Update, a Garden Guide was introduced to GaG. Inside the Garden Guide, you’ll find an index of all the crops you’ve seen (this includes planted and received as gifts or trades). As well as this, there are 104 Achievements to complete!

These are divided into Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Mythical, Divine, and Prismatic Achievements. For each collection you complete, you’ll receive a Silver Seed Pack of the same rarity. Inside these Silver Seed Packs, you’ll find Silver variants of the seeds you can purchase at Sam’s Seed Stall.

So, for example, in the Common Silver Seed Pack, you can find Silver Carrot and Silver Strawberry seeds. When the seed is multi-harvest, like a Strawberry, it doesn’t mean the crop will only provide Silver harvests. Instead, the plant itself will be Silver, and you’ll have a chance at Silver crops.

What Is The Multiplier for Silver in GaG?

The Silver Mutation will apply a 5x multiplier to your crops.
