  1. Can I suggest try to use tongs for the lemon? It won't hurt your hands as bad. I have the same problem when I'm cooking

  2. My roommate is from Iraq and found it strange that I was dipping veggies into hummus. He says they eat it with a spoon. I'm guessing it's similar to refried beans to them..

  5. Add a tiny bit of salt and pepper to your garlic before you roast it. If you want it really garlicky, add some garlic powder. You can also add herbs.

  7. I have a bunch of chickpeas that I bought to make hummus last year and they’re still in the cabinet. The date is good till 2027. So I still got time.
