Entimio, a United States-based producer, has been awarded three Gold Awards at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. The competition recognized Entimio’s commitment to authenticity, traceability, and sustainability in its production of Italian artisan extra virgin olive oil.
The winning entries include Entimio Intenso, Entimio Cortese, and Entimio Ardente. Each of these organic extra virgin olive oils is crafted from specific cultivars of olives grown in small family groves across Italy.
Entimio Intenso, made from Coratina and Peranzana olives, is produced in rural Puglia. Entimio Cortese features Frantoio olives from rural Tuscany, while Entimio Ardente is crafted from Nocellara del Belice and Cerasuola olives in rural Sicily.
Entimio’s meticulous approach ensures the preservation of freshness and healthful properties in its extra virgin olive oils, which are cold extracted in local mills within hours of harvest.
