Recipe:

1. Cut off the end of the brussels sprouts (where the stem is), then peel the top layer of leaves away
2. Cut the sprouts in half
3. Add olive oil to a pan (enough to almost cover the bottom), then add the sprouts cut-side down
4. Cook on medium heat until cut side is slightly browned, then flip them over and season with salt and garlic powder
5. Cook for a few more minutes or until the brussels sprouts soften (but are not mush)

  1. If you fry bacon first then use the bacon grease to cook them in. Then after sprouts are done add bacon back in…we go an added step and add orange Chinese sauce. Best thing ever
