    Same!! I’m just mad that my body refuses to digest real onions so I can only use onion powder or the dried minced onion and that with caution. I don’t even coat mine with anything. Just plain, quick fried in butter or bacon grease with a little onion flavor!!

    That is a delicious and nutritious meal right there. I like the tallow, tomatoes, good amount of onion. Spinach/collard/mustard greens go in almost everything I cook. 10/10 plate.

    Nice. I kinda dig all organ meats but liver is my favorite one too. I’ve never seen it prepared that way-are those collards with tomatoes or some other green?

    Liver, bacon and onions slathered in a pan gravy, with mash and buttery steamed veg.

    Takes me right back to my granny’s kitchen.

    I haven’t had liver in 20 years. My mother was the only person who made it the way I liked it. Simple liver, gravy, sauteed onions and several lbs of homemade mashed potatoes. …I miss it
