I apologize if these aren't old enough, both recipes have been used by older ladies for a few decades.
I made the first one today, they were delicious.

    Cursive on the back says

    “Use buttermilk.

Use at least 11/2 cups onions.

    Could use some garlic.

Batter should NOT be thick enough to form a ball.

It’s really fried cornbread with lots of onions.

Also uppercase T means Tablespoons, lower case t mean teaspoons.

Three cups of chopped onion?! I love it.

For real, though: THREE CUPS OF CHOPPED ONION??

If you want a hint of spice in your hush puppies, add 1-2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning to the recipe. It’s a game changer.

Justin Wilson’s hush puppies video. Great precise instructions and wonderful, tasty hush puppies. I guarantee!
