Enjoy an evening of Italian wine and storytelling surrounded by nature at the San Diego Botanic Garden during Wine Tasting & History with Certified Sommelier Dane Kuta on Thursday, August 21 from 6 p.m.–7:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy five hand-selected wines from esteemed wine-growing regions in Central Italy while learning about indigenous grapes and the unique production techniques that set them apart. Kuta will also share stories about the history of Italian wine, including the legendary tale of the Black Rooster, a symbol of Chianti’s traditions.
Admission includes the wine tasting and a charcuterie tasting snack to accompany the various pours.
