Inaugurated at the same time as the Opéra Garnier, Grand Café Capucines is a true Parisian institution. For over 100 years, the whole of Paris has flocked here to sample its fine cuisine. In 2019, the iconic brasserie received a facelift! Gone are the wood panelling and upholstered chairs! The Toro & Liautard studio has given the place a fresh, modern twist, while retaining its Belle Époque elegance. Between the mirrors on the ceiling, the lighting fixtures and the velvet seating, the atmosphere is warm and intimate. You’ll find large tables for dining with friends, or tables for two tucked away in alcoves, conducive to confidence and closeness…

On the menu, the brasserie reinvents the great classics of French brasserie. We find the inevitable seafood platters, to share (or not), but also the great classics of French cuisine. We like the snails for starters, which are extra melt-in-your-mouth, or the fine entrecote served with home fries. A delight!
