The birria tacos and consommé I had in North Hollywood today blew me away. You often hear words like hidden gem and roll your eyes. There’s no way to sugarcoat this. What chef Janet and her family have created is what makes LA one of if not the best street food cities in the world. Hopefully they’ll reopen back on Pico soon. In the meantime give them a follow on instagram (they post about pop ups there). I’ve been eating these tacos for almost seven years now and no one else even comes close. They also have great fish and shrimp tacos, ceviche, and sometimes if you’re lucky you’ll get to try the sushi hand rolls.
