Honestly I was surprised to see him speak so eloquently about a flat white. To be honest, I didn't quite understand the difference between a flat white and a small latte. (I'm new, catch me a break!)

Not surprised – watch some of his interviews and you’ll find that he’s a sharp, knowledgeable, and thoughtful guy. He also has a great sense of humor.
Well said to whoever is saying it in this video, I cannot see him, only a cup floating about, but that’s another story. I agree that cappuccino should be smaller in size, it appears that they are getting bigger and bigger now. Even bigger than a cafe latte cup
I get what he tries to say but it is also a bit pretentious. Just cause someone does not make a flat white like he likes it doesnt mean their coffe hast to be bad. If he wants less milk he can just order another drink next time. I get that flat whites has different foam texture techincally and less milk than capucinos. But i ve seen plenty of good coffes who do not even make a difference between a capuccinno and a flat white. Litteral caffes that are also roasters and won prices for their roasting.
You know you are in a mediocre cafe when they have sizes of flat white on the board.

I always do the same as using a flat white as a barometer of a cafe quality. It’s lovely hearing Cena speak so eloquently about a topic I’m pretty passionate about and he really seems to get it
Order an Australian drink, and expecting everywhere to adhere to Australian standards seems a bit… uninformed ngl.
