Transport to the French Alps via the Beverly Hills hotel’s winter holiday collaboration with Four Seasons Megeve France. Through Jan. 1, guests can take a seat at the festively decorated lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills — modeled after a chic ski resort — and enjoy a menu of signature cocktails and gourmet comfort foods inspired by French and Alpine cuisine.

Begin with a glass of Mont-Blanc Eggnog or warm Mulled Wine, then split a pot of steaming fondue (mushroom and truffle enhancements optional), served with skewers to dip bread, potatoes and other accoutrements.

Or, opt for a charcuterie board, almond crusted brie and balmoral smoked salmon, and finish with a chocolate fondue with seasonal fruit for dessert.

Festive Afternoon Tea at Peninsula Beverly Hills
Throughout December, this luxe Beverly Hills favorite is offering winter experiences for the whole family.

The Festive Afternoon Tea, featuring holiday treats and Laurent-Perrier Champagne, runs through Dec. 31. Seating times are at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., and the cost of $135 per person also includes a donation to The Easter Seals Foundation, supporting individuals with disabilities in SoCal.
On Dec. 24 and 25, a special afternoon holiday tea celebration will feature free-flowing Champagne, original teas and a tower of sweet and savory treats — all accompanied by music from a classical harpist. For reservations, email [email protected] or call 310-975-2736.
The Belvedere will serve a four-course Christmas Eve dinner.

Mexican haunt The Hideaway — a starry favorite due to owners including Jeffrey Best, Ryan Philippe and Evan Ross — is offering an authentic holiday meal on Christmas Eve. Indulge in the exclusive plate featuring port wine-braised beef short rib, with black truffle mash potatoes and chili habanero roasted baby carrots ($65).

For dessert, try the festive cheesecake with tequila caramel ($16). Fans of the hot spot can also order anything off the restaurant’s usual menu.

Chef David Almany opens up the chic Georgian Room inside Santa Monica’s Georgian Hotel every Sunday from 5-9 p.m. for an evening of coursed red sauce Italian fare, featuring home-style dishes like Grandpa Tony’s Meatballs, chicken parm and a signature New York Strip. Sunday, Dec. 24 will also feature a “Feast of the Seven Fishes.”

For the second year, the newly reimagined Century City hotel transformed its outdoor patio into a whimsical winter wonderland with beautifully built wood chalets.

Visitors and hotel guests can reserve a Swiss chalet for groups of two to eight and enjoy a prix-fixe menu. Start with a welcome glass of Gluhwein, then enjoy butternut squash soup, braised beef cheek, cheese and dessert fondue and holiday cocktails by the fire pit.
Finish on a sweet note with dessert fondue and fresh fruit.
