The Cooking Kit is a cosmetic for cooking that was added to Grow a Garden on August 16, 2025, as part of the Beanstalk Update. Unlike most cosmetics, this one is functional and lets you continue making food. Especially if you need a Corn Dog for the Pet Pouch recipe. How to Get the Cooking Kit in Grow a Garden
Since you can’t buy the Cooking Kit from the Cosmetics Stall, getting it can be a little confusing. You’ll instead need to complete certain achievements to get it as a reward. For those who may not know, achievements were added in the Beanstalk Update, completely separate from Roblox badges.
These are a part of the Garden Guide item that you can find in your inventory. Using it will reveal a whole journal full of information tracking your progress in Grow a Garden. The main thing we want to focus on is the Achievements tab.
The easiest way to get a Cooking Kit is to complete all of the Common Achievements. The five achievements include:
Shovel 100 Plants Harvest 200 Carrots Gift 1 Carrot Sell 500 Strawberries Gift 5 Strawberries
You can get two more Cooking Kits by completing the Rare Achievements and Mythical Achievements as well. However, there are even more and they’re much tougher to finish.
How to Use the Cooking Kit in Grow a Garden
Using the Cooking Kit requires placing it in your garden as you would place any other cosmetics. You can open the cosmetic inventory by pressing the Hammer and Wrench icon near the top left corner or pressing the letter B on PC. Once you’ve found the Cooking Kit, tap it to place it inside your garden.
Then, you’ll be able to use it like the original Cooking Pot from the Cooking Event. All you have to do is hold a fruit you want to add to the pot, walk up, and then interact with it to place it inside. It’ll then appear on the Ingredients board to the left of the pot. Once your recipe is ready, click or press the big green Cook button.
If you can’t add ingredients to the pot or press the Cook button, it’s possible this is bugged. This seems to break frequently, unfortunately. However, a quick fix is to pick the Cooking Kit up and place it back down. Ingredients already in the pot will return to your inventory when picking it up.
