Bellomy Hospitality is a family-operated hospitality group comprised of brothers, Beau, Ryan, and Sean Bellomy. The elegant new cocktail lounge will be housed above the legendary S&D Oyster Company — another property of Bellomy Hospitality Group. Bellomy has transformed the former office space into a beautiful, quietly luxurious space with vaulted ceilings, original red brick, and wood panelling. Designed by Jones Baker, the lounge’s interior features also include brass accents, zinc bartop, an antique fireplace, and crystal chandelier. The venue will also feature a balcony overlooking the S&D Oyster Company’s New Orleans-inspired courtyard.

Caché tapped acclaimed beverage director, Shane Scully, to curate its cocktail program. Using firsthand research in New Orleans, Scully put together a creative, historical, and story-driven cocktail program blending contemporary methods and inventive ingredients.

Featured cocktails at Caché include the Oyster Co. Martini, American Graffiti, and Riffignac — the latter a spin on the Roffignac, a traditional New Orleans cocktail, made with cognac infused with salted honey cornbread, champagne shrub, corn cream soda, and raspberry. Caché also puts a twist on the New Orleans Hurricane with its Hurricanrana, an elevated version spin with Worthy Park 109, lemongrass fassionola, spiced rum blend, and lime.

Additionally, Caché will offer a curated wine program by former Head Sommelier of The French Laundry, Jesse Rodriguez. Cache will start with 18 wine varieties by glass or bottle which it will expand to 70 in the fall focusing on sparking, white, roses, and reds.

A selection of New Orleans-inspired small plates will also be available at Caché. Featured options include a caviar service, steak tartare, black-eyed pea hummus, deviled eggs, and charcuterie & ccheese board.

Caché opens at 2701 McKinney Ave. above S&D Oyster Company on Friday, August 29. Entrance via Boll Street. First-come, first-served.
