Tis the season for parties, and we’re always on the lookout for a great Christmas appetizer to take to all of those December events. Our criteria? It has to be easy, delicious, and show-stopping. Thanks to Mackenzie Biehl, we’ve found our new go-to recipe. (And “recipe” might be an overstatement: This idea requires no cooking! Bonus: It’s super kid-friendly.)

The Florida-based mom of two shared the how-to video on Instagram. You just need a few items: a styrofoam cone, parchment paper, kale, toothpicks, and a tray of Chick-fil-A nuggets (a small tray of 64 nuggets costs $35.50). You could also pick up a bag of frozen chicken nuggets (like the taste-alike Just Bare nuggets) and heat them up in the air-fryer.

Mackenzie explains how to make it: “Not much effort needed to make this tree! 😂 I wrapped the styrofoam cone in parchment paper then large pieces of kale. Used toothpicks to secure the chicken nuggets. Put out some sauces and boom! Fun holiday centerpiece!”

She finishes the tree by putting a star on top and adding ketchup and Chick-fil-A sauce to small dishes while Brody, her 70-pound Goldendoodle, looks on. Followers chimed in with comments like, “This is GENIUS, Mack! I’m obsessed!!!” and “Love this idea! So creative and fun.”

Mackenzie’s Instagram account is filled with creative ideas, like this charcuterie centerpiece and these adorable Christmas ornament cupcakes. We’re ready to party!
