Quinoa Chickpea Masala Recipe

Ingredients:
• 1 onion
• 2 green chilies
• 1 inch ginger
• 4–5 garlic cloves
• 1 handful coriander leaves
• 1 cup water
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
• 2 tsp coriander powder
• 1 tsp cumin powder
• ½ tsp garam masala
• Salt to taste
• 1 cup chickpeas (boiled)
• ½ cup quinoa (soaked 5 mins & washed)
• 2 tomatoes

Method:
1. Make a paste with tomato, ginger, garlic, chillies & coriander leaves.
2. Heat oil and sauté onion until tender.
3. Add the paste and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala & salt.
5. Once masalas are cooked, add chickpeas & quinoa.
6. Pour water, mix well, add coriander leaves.
7. Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
8. Turn off the flame & serve hot with dahi & salad
