It's so ugly š¤¢ I made it as a joke for my favorite cousin's wedding potluck! We are both appalled but get enough drinks in me and I'll be cutting into this for the lol's but he's requiring me to make one for every family event now.
The chicken broth came out way darker than I expected but next time I'm sticking to clear and I want to try and make a forest scape with broccoli!
10/10 was very fun to make and highly recommend it!

This reminds me of a less well-received potluck contribution of my own making.
It was a lumpy cucumber mousse made with thick cream, molded and served cold. I forgot to add the salt.
It was truly disgusting in taste, all the more so because people dug in expecting it to be lime jello-cottage cheese-pineapple fruit salad. Blah.
As long as you used unflavored animal based gelatin it might actually taste decent.
If you used jello then youāre screwed.

For gross-looking, but delicious-tasting, jello monstrosities, our family likes ātestingā the cousinsā latest boyfriends/girlfriends by giving them a bowl of ājello saladā.
Soften a package of cream cheese and blend/mix in to prepared warm, liquid lime jello. Then stir in a can of mandarin oranges. Set in the fridge.
The cream cheese turns the jello the same color of 70ās jadeite Tupperware and white clumps rise to the surface. Mandarin sections pop through. Itās creamy and tasty, but looks god-awful. From my Caucasian dadās midwestern family. Iāve seen some use whipped cream, cool whip, cottage cheese, etc. and all flavors of jello, but cream cheese and lime is my favorite.
