Snowman Ice Cream in Troy mourns loss of beloved staple

Snowman Ice Cream in Troy is mourning the loss of a beloved staple.

Colleen Murphy, also known as “Mama Murph,” died on August 20, they said.

Murphy began working under her son, John, when he owned the business. She later worked for her granddaughter, Samantha.

A funeral will be held at Cannon Funeral Home on August 26 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
