I visited the Nespresso Boutique in Paramus, NJ tonight. The nicest employee was the woman working the tasting counter. I did not know that they only let you sample the coffee hot (they don't have ice cubes???) and they only allow samples of certain flavors – today it was Ginseng & Cafe Joyeux. My mom did not want sugar in either so I did not really taste anything special in either.. the Cafe Joyeux was better with brown sugar. i did ask if the active pod is here to stay and the employee confirmed that so that was great
ALSO the only free packs they had in this store were the golden caramel & vanilla decaf 🙁 so needless to say I will be placing an online order ASAP to try and get the leggero sampler lol

I purchased:
– descaling kit
– NOLA pods
– 2 pistachio pods (bc it's going away and i never tried it yet)
– Samara pods

I stopped buying online and only go to the Paramus boutique now. Not only are the offers usually better at the boutique in terms of buying a certain number of sleeves and getting free ones, but they will give you way more free samples at the boutique than you get online.

Customer Service is also insanely good. So if you’re not sure if you like something or if you know what you absolutely hate, they are really good at guiding you what to buy. I just find the experiences so much better than buying online personally.

If there’s a boutique local to you, don’t buy online, buy at the boutique. Also, if there’s an online deal, if they can, they will usually honor it in store.

Also, they usually give me a free double shot to go if I ask. It’s part of the experience really to walk in there, get a coffee, buy coffee, etc.

Ugh can’t believe I spent ten days at my I laws in Bergen county and didn’t know there was a boutique in Paramus! Hope you love NOLA and Simra as much as I do. ♥️

Nice. Though it isn’t the closest to where I live, I enjoy the San Francisco Union Square location. Last time in, the woman I spoke with offered me my choice of 5 or 6 different coffees and allowed me to pick two. She brewed NOLA and Pistachio in nice glasses. Class act.

Sounds like a really good experience, OP. The lighting in that boutique looks a tad too low and those garbage cans in front of the Grand Cru section ? What were they thinking?
