I’ve got my ritual fairly locked in & rarely do anything but drinking the espresso. Sometimes I remember HOW GOOD and easy an affogato is.
In fact I forget how mind blowing it is for others when I make them an affogato. I sometimes make an affogato for friends when they’re over & they treat me like I just gave them the best dessert they’ve ever had 😂 .

I dont like it in its original way. I dont like the melted vanilla ice with espresso.
If I want something like this, I put espresso in the fridge and use it later as a sauce for the vanilla ice.
You need to try it with hazelnut ice cream. Even better than vanilla.
Did my first one a couple days ago! I had some decaf (a sin, I know. But I like a bedtime treat) and it went perfect with some ice cream.
