What’s your favorite wagashi(Japanese sweets)?

   My heart goes to daifuku and kusa dango, though I love Mitarashi dango too. 

   I like taiyaki too but can we say it’s wagashi, or is it plain yakigashi?

   Ohagi and monaka are my top favorites and yokan if i have some good tea.

   So many good ones, but my favorite is probably the nama-yatsuhashi from Kyoto. (I live in Tokyo, so I don’t get these often.)

   Zunda mochi.

   I’m also a fiend for Sakura mochi in the spring.

   For souvenir snacks I would have to say Hakata Torimon manju.

   Chichi dango. From Hawaii. Yes, I know what it means, but that’s what it says on the package. Gummy bites of rice and coconut milk heaven.

   Nerikiri is my favourite. Mizu Yokan is second favourite. Third place is Han-Namagashi by Midori Seika.
