Do you just… foam hot chocolate instead of heating it otherwise? I’ll have to try this during the winter.

Yup, the kids know that, if the machine is on, I’ll be happy to make hot chocolate upon request. On the flip side, they know that I’m not making it on the stove, if the machine isn’t on – ain’t nobody got time for that!

JFC are people here really advocating steaming milk filled with sugary chocolate syrup? This is a terrible idea and not at all good for your machine. Steam the milk as milk, then pour into your chocolate just like you would an espresso.
Don’t put anything sugary through your steam wand 😳

Not sure it’s recommended to use it like that, but it looks delicious!

If you have decent hot chocolate, such as flakes, you can add them to cold milk and steam together. Best result that way.
