Whyyyyy? How? Does it make the cookies for me? I would love recommendations for your favorite sets. I’ve never had one that didn’t stick or get stuck but I hate shaping by hand.

You don’t get it, do you? It’s deluxe!

My mom has one of these she bought for like $10 in 1989 that’s still going strong. We used it this past March to make cookies when I was visiting.

Have you tried keeping a cup of hot water to stick it in between scoops to keep it from sticking? As for that price…. Wow. Pretty ridiculous, but so are a lot of things I’ve seen for sale. I got a set of 3 or 4 for under $20 on Amazon.

Come to the King Arthur Store in VT, they have a whole selection of overpriced crap. 70 bucks for some metal measuring spoons.

Well, TBF it is the DELUXE model. /s

Why you go to the commercial food service store instead of King Arthur. Great recipes though!

This made me laugh! I too would expect these to make the cookies for me at that price point

  9. That scoop better yell constant reassurances and reaffirmations to me while I bake…

Best thing my husband ever bought was a traditional ice cream scoop. The heat of your hand warms it up, voilà. [scoop ](https://amzn.eu/d/a0RwJ24)
Made cookies last night and it works a treat.

Just more boutique junk. You would be utterly disappointed in humanity at how many people will spend that much money on something like this thinking it’s what they deserve.

When the cookie scoop is over twice the price of the ones at Williams-Sonoma, you know it’s overpriced AF.

i just form dough into thin long logs, freeze it, then cut it into desired sized sections using a scale to get accurate equal amt

I got a couple of different sizes from the restaurant supply store for around five dollars a piece. Works just fine.

35 yrs ago, I bought a cookie scoop at a pampered chef party (because I bake a lot of cookies) and honestly was a young broke mom and could not afford to be buying from that catalog. But it was my sister in laws party and she would bitch and tell everyone if I didn’t buy a damn thing. I don’t remember how much it was and I bought a few other small kitchen utensils, the veg peeler and a rolling pin . Now the cookie scoop and veg peeler are used at least 3 times a week and the rolling pin is used every other week or so and they’re all in perfect working order and still look great. I paid decent money for them and I’m a firm believer you get what you pay for. All that to say, I would not pay $75 for that scoop and I have the money now!

That thing better cook, clean itself, clean the other dishes, mix the batter, scoop the dough, package the left over dough, take the cookies out, heck even just become a cook because mind aswell
