My first brisket, what a delicious piece of meat!
In belgium it is not a well-known piece of meat. Most people don't even know what it is except for the low & slow bbq fanatics.
After a 12h cook on the kamado joe. I sliced a part of to make burnt ends and after this wonderful appetizer, i sliced the rest.
It was very soft and juicy.
Wow what a taste, i didn't have brisket before but i will be having it in the future. Too bad it is an expensive piece of meat in Belgium.

It’s expensive everywhere. Looks better than my first one I’d say lol

Hello there, look great!! I live in France and I would love to try to make one too but I can’t seem to find the right cut. How is it called in Belgium and where did you find it (supermarket/local butcher)? Over here I try to say “pointe de poitrine de bœuf” but it doesn’t seem to be something that is commonly found anywhere, they usually propose rumsteak instead but it is waaaayyyy to lean for low and slow.
