Introduced in german speaking european countries (Germany, Austria, not sure about Switzerland or Belgium) in the very early 1990's, this is the classic McDonald's item for me.

  • with a wheat bun (mine is made with sourdough and lard and contains 5 types of flour of which 3 are wheat, corn and rye flour, second picture)
  • cheddar cheese
  • a beef quarterpounder
  • slithers of onion
  • a special sauce (mayonnaise with me)
  • chopped lettuce
  • butter, salt and cracked black pepper

Something Vincent Vega might have ordered had he been in Berlin or Vienna before the events of "Pulp Fiction".

*TS stands for Tomate (tomato) and Salat (lettuce)

Homemade version was just beautiful.👌
