First time trying Season’s boneless skinless sardine fillets after my s/o, who does not partake in the deens, noticed my recent new obsession and picked up a tin for me while out grocery shopping one day (“Thought you might want to try these!”) (true love does exist lol)
The end of a boring Monday (and an evening of trash reality tv) called for something fun to munch on. Paired these with some good ol’ Ritz, baby pickles (quartered), Louisiana hot sauce, Hot Cheetos, and my favorite IPA for a little added sparkle✨ not pictured is the yellow mustard that made its way into the mix.
Overall I would give these a 7/10? Not a fan of the dry and overly firm texture. This caused them to be nearly impossible to remove from the can, and ended up falling mostly apart.
These would do well mashed up, into a “tuna salad” sort of situation, or for rice bowls.
(The blobs on top of the fish in the tin are pieces of lemon that fell in while squeezing over them)

I got a whole bunch of these by mistake and yeah… They’re just not as good as the bone-in skin-on ones. And now I have, like… *So* many lol
I just mash em up in the can and spread em on crackers with hot sauce
They’re fine, just fine. Unfortunately, we’re spoiled with better offerings.
Nice beer choice.
It’s interesting – I totally agree with your assessment that they are drier and firmer, but that’s what I like about them!
Just go to the bone in skin on sardines with olive oil. You won’t regret it.
